French Wines takes its roots from the personal journey of CEO Marie-Claire De Guzman Montesquieu, a Franco-Philippine native who has been shuttling between her home in France and her roots in the Philippines since childhood.

 

After completing her studies at a Business School in France, Marie-Claire returned to the Philippines to celebrate this milestone with her family. To mark the occasion, she brought bottles of Bordeaux wine, introducing her loved ones to the specialties and heritage of French viniculture. Witnessing their first experience with French wines, her family was instantly captivated by the unique sensations provided by the flavors and aromas of quality French wine. This moment marked the beginning of a remarkable journey.

Recognizing the value of sharing cultural treasures across the globe, Marie-Claire delved into the world of wine, attending events and tastings to learn from specialists in the French viticulture realm. She developed a passion for this "art" deeply rooted in France, a tradition that has endured through generations. With a wealth of experience in the wine industry, it became clear to her that she wanted to extend this art from France to the Philippines. Thus, she founded French Wines, a company dedicated to importing the finest French wines to the Philippines.
